The Head Teacher and Governors of Swalwell Primary School are looking to appoint a highly motivated KS2 class teacher to join our fantastic school. At Swalwell, we are very proud of our inclusive school. We are a mainstream primary school with two ARMS (additional resource mainstream school). One for children with physical disabilities and another for ASc learners. Our school places learners at the heart of all we do and we are committed to ensure every child achieves their full potential in all aspects of their life.
We are looking for an outstanding individual who is:
A committed child centred practitioner who places the holistic development of children at the centre of all they do.
A creative and enthusiastic teacher, who is prepared to work closely with the whole school community.
Someone who can contribute to raise standards of achievements so that all children achieve their full potential.
A practitioner who has up to date knowledge and experience of working with mainstream learners alongside those with additional needs within a KS2 setting.
A practitioner who can adjust teaching approaches to different phases in school.
Someone who can work in partnership with children, staff, parents, carers and Governors to embed our shared vision of supporting every child to reach their individual potential.
Experience of dealing with high levels of SEMH and Send pupils
