Victoria Park Nursery School is a vibrant Local Authority early years school based in the heart of Newbury.

We have the following fixed term vacancies for January 2026 start:

2 x Teaching Assistants Level 1. To work in Chestnut E2 - N1

Salary: FTE 24,413 - 24,796

January to August 2026

8.40 - 12.40 Monday to Friday - 20 hours per week

These vacancies are currently for FIXED TERM contracts (ends August 2026).

The ideal candidates would have relevant experience of working in an early years setting Makaton experience is desirable but not essential.

Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will be caring for and meeting the needs of children aged between 2 to 4 years, including children who have additional learning needs.

We have a diverse school community and would therefore welcome all applications including those from bilingual candidates with spoken ability in European or South Asian languages.
