We are looking for experienced, motivated, flexible and enthusiastic M1 manager to join our team, in a respite setting to provide care and support to individuals with a learning disability, challenging behaviour and Autism.
The post holder will provide first line management of the Home and a professional care team. The major focus of the role will be to ensure that quality care practices are implemented and adhered to. A crucial aspect of the role will be to ensure that quality care practices are implemented in accordance with The Essential Standards of Safety and Quality as determined by The Care Quality Commission (CQC), statutory guidelines and the statement of purpose of the Home.
Manage a team of key workers and oversee the implementation of care packages, including the formulation and implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and review of care plans. Plan for and supervise the delivery of care packages working in co-operation with other professionals and agencies. Manage, supervise and engage in the day-to-day care practice and activities of the home to include, planning and participating in activities, ensure the health care and training needs of all residents are addressed, promoting safeguarding.
Good communication skills are essential, and you will need to have the ability to use your own initiative.
You will be required to work on a rota system over a 7-day week which include days, afters, waking nights, weekends, bank holidays, on a rota basis.
