Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our vibrant Coffee Shop team. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, bar and dining areas. This position requires a passion for food, coffee and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and ensure all dishes are prepared according to our established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Engage with customers, providing friendly service and upselling menu items to enhance their dining experience. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Support the kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, contributing to a positive team environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to help others and work collaboratively as part of a team is essential for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
