12.86 per hour plus 11% London Weighting

Driver Bonus

: Earn up to 6% of your quarterly salary, paid every 3 months

Any 5 days out of 7 - you will be required to work some weekends

NEXT's extensive transport network relies on our Van Drivers, who play a key role in delivering to stores efficiently, safely, and with pride.

You will be operating 7-metre long-wheelbase vans, delivering stock across Greater London, Surrey, Oxford, Peterborough, Banbury and surrounding areas.

On any given day you can expect 3 to 7 store drops, with the possibility of one reload depending on your schedule.

What the role involves

:

Starting your shift with up to 1 hour of parcel sorting, including loading your own van with the assistance of other team members. Spending approximately 70% of your shift driving, and 30% on deliveries and loading Keeping your van clean, roadworthy, and properly loaded to avoid damage or loss Communicating delays to the office and completing delivery paperwork Working as part of a wider team that supports and values its drivers

We are looking for drivers who:

Hold a full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points Have previous multi-drop or van driving experience (desirable) Are customer-focused, polite and deadline oriented Have some experience with technology, as you will be required to operate a handheld POD device that scans stock and confirms deliveries, full training will be provided

We monitor and coach you on:

Acceleration Overrun Over-revving Green band driving Engine idle Harsh braking MPG (Miles per gallon)
You will receive support from a dedicated Driver Development Coach to help improve your style, performance, and bonus potential.

Realistic Earnings Example:

Basic hourly rate: 14.27 (including London weighting) Overtime rate: 21.41 per hour (after 45 hours) Work on a rest day? The entire shift is paid at 1.5x, so, If you work a 9 hour shift on a rest day, you will earn 192.69 for the day Average week (42 hours): Approx. 598.80 before overtime or bonus With regular overtime + bonuses, your total earnings can be significantly higher
