Summary

We are seeking Volunteer Hosts to join our dynamic team at FoodCycle. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our community initiatives, ensuring that all guests feel valued and supported during their time with us. Your contributions will directly impact our mission to provide healthy meals and foster connections within the community.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at our community events and cafes. Assist in setting up dining areas to create an inviting atmosphere for guests. Provide information about FoodCycle's mission and programs to visitors. Support volunteers in their roles during meal preparation and service. Ensure that all guests receive attentive service throughout their visit. Help manage seating arrangements and flow of guests during busy periods.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for community engagement. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people. Organizational skills to help manage events effectively. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about FoodCycle's mission.
