Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to Children aged 11- 17 who have emotional and behavioural difficulties. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve in a safe and nurturing environment. This position is ideal for those with a passion for helping others, particularly in settings such as assisted living, home care, and hospice care.

Duties

As a Night Care Worker, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting Children with daily living activities such as behaviour management Preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences. Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring clients' health conditions. Implementing behaviour management strategies to support Childrenwith specific needs. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Maintaining accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition. Ensuring a clean and safe living environment for all clients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Previous experience in a Children's Home care is highly desirable. A background in Residential Childcare or relevant qualifications is an advantage. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Children and their families. Empathy and patience when working with individuals who may have varying levels of need. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the dignity of all clients. Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by client needs.

Pay: 13.31-13.59 per hour
