1. Check incoming products against documentation so that they can be catalogued, stored or sent directly to fulfil customer orders.
2. Ensure safe handling of products and equipment which are held in storage or for direct delivery to customers and in doing so carry out checks and instructions specified in METLAB's quality management system processes manuals.
3. Identify, label and safely pack products and equipment for direct delivery to customers and ensure the safe and efficient loading of delivery vehicles for fulfilment of customer orders.
4. Help to create and maintain a safe and efficient working environment in the warehouse to ensure that all products and equipment stored in the warehouse at correct locations and packed in a way as to minimise the risk of damage to products and equipment and ensure the personal health and safety of METLAB staff and visitors.
5. Comply with all METLAB policies and processes including quality procedures and instructions, health and safety and personal practices.
6. Carry out any reasonable duties relating to storage, handling and delivery of products and equipment required by Directors.
7. An ability to assist our team of delivery drivers when required is desirable, covering sickness and holiday periods.

Experience
Relevant experience in a warehouse environment
Experience handling and storing sensitive equipment and chemical products
Familiar with warehouse storage processes and/or working within a quality management system environment

Problem solving - able to solve simple problems and avoidance of errors without ongoing supervision
Knowledge
Detailed knowledge of warehouse processes
Knowledge of general processes of storage and delivery
