Michael Harding Art Formulas Ltd, internationally known for producing the world's highest-quality art materials, is looking for a

Warehouse Operative

to join our outstanding fulfilment team in

Cwmbran (NP44 5BE)

.

This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role with occasional supervisory cover responsibilities (when team leaders are on annual leave or sick leave). We're seeking someone who takes pride in precision, can work well independently, and brings strong Excel and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

:

Picking and packing orders with 100% accuracy Labelling, boxing, and preparing stock - high dexterity required Quality control checks during packing and production Cleaning and maintaining the workspace (on a team rota) Domestic and international shipping, including pallet dispatch Using

Microsoft Excel

to track stock, record data, and help manage workflow

Stepping in to supervise

when the team leader is unavailable (annual leave or sick leave)

Essential Requirements

:

Previous warehouse/fulfilment experience Reliable, punctual, and consistent with attendance Confident user of

Microsoft Excel

- must understand formulas and data tracking Physically fit - able to lift up to 18kg Willingness to step into temporary supervisory responsibilities Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards Self-motivated and capable of maintaining focus on repetitive tasks

Order Picking & Packing Accuracy

- able to follow fulfilment procedures precisely

Product Labelling & Boxing

- high manual dexterity and care with presentation

Microsoft Excel Proficiency

- comfortable with: Entering and organising data Using basic formulas (SUM, IF, COUNTIF) Spotting and correcting data errors

Quality Control Awareness

- ability to spot defects or inconsistencies

Team Flexibility

- willingness to cover team leader duties when needed

Punctuality & Attendance

- strong personal discipline and reliability

Physical Fitness

- ability to safely lift and move up to 18kg boxes

Rota-based Cleaning

- takes responsibility for workspace cleanliness

Leadership & Professionalism:

Bonus / Preferred Skills:

Previous Supervisory Experience

- even in a temporary or informal capacity

Forklift Licence

- valid and up to date

IATA Certification or Dangerous Goods Shipping Knowledge

Familiarity with Shipping Software / Label Printing Systems

Comfortable Using Machinery

- e.g., tube fillers or labellers
