Lecturer in A Level English

The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to teach A Level English at Gower college Swansea.

0.5 Fractional (18.5 hours per week) Permanent 12,685 - 24,967 per annum (depending on qualifications and/or experience) Gorseinon Campus

Key Responsibilities:

To work with the team to deliver AS and A2 Level English ensuring excellence in teaching and learning across all courses. To keep up to date with examination board developments and ensure all external requirements are met. To work with the Curriculum Leader and Learning Area Manager to set targets and monitor performance in recruitment, attendance, retention, attainment and successful completion.

About you:

Possess a suitable English degree and a recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one). The ability to effectively deliver and assess on all curriculum identified. A very confident communicator and committed individual who can engage and inspire the A level learners. Excellent organisational and problem solving skills

Full-Time Equivalent Salary: 25,371 - 49,934 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
