Job Introduction

St Mary's Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated member of support staff to join our warm and welcoming school community. This role will be predominantly based on supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), both within the classroom and through targeted small group or 1:1 interventions.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience (or a keen interest) in supporting children with SEN Is flexible, reliable, and committed to helping children achieve their best Demonstrates high expectations of behaviour and supports our positive behaviour approach Works effectively as part of a team but can also use their initiative Communicates clearly and compassionately with children and adults Is patient, nurturing and understands the importance of building positive relationships Embraces our Catholic ethos and the values of Community, Pride and Joy*


Relevant qualifications in supporting teaching and learning or experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
