Job Description

The role forms an integral part of SAVTE's Programme Delivery Team, with the main purpose of delivering our home-based programme for English language learners who are unable to access mainstream provision. This involves recruiting, training and retaining volunteers to provide 1 to 1 or group English learning face-to-face or online. The 1 to 1 Link Worker's role is to assess and understand learners' needs and aspirations, and to work with their volunteers to support learners' progression in gaining new skills, confidence and knowledge. A significant part of the role will be in direct delivery of volunteer training. The postholder will also contribute to the delivery of other SAVTE programmes as needed.

Working hours:

28 hours per week, hybrid working pattern (at least 50% office-based).

Annual Leave

: 28 days + 8 bank holidays+ 3 Well-being days over the Christmas period. (pro-rata)
