We're looking for a compassionate and dependable individual of a similar age to support a bright, articulate, and cheerful man in his 30s, who has a complex physical disability and relies on his powered wheelchair for mobility.

This is an incredible opportunity for mothers seeking flexible shifts between (16-18 hours per week) that fit seamlessly around childcare commitments, nursery, and school hours - ensuring a balanced approach to work and family life.

Flexible Schedules Available:

Schedule 1 (16 hrs/week)

Wednesdays and Fridays: 9:00 AM - 15:00 PM Sundays: 14:00 PM - 20:00 PM (only two per month)
Schedule 2 (18 hrs/week)

Wednesdays and Fridays: 9:00 AM - 16:00 PM Sundays: 13:00 PM - 20:00 PM (only two per month)
Schedule 3 (18 hrs/week)

Wednesdays and Fridays: 9:00 AM - 15:00 PM Sundays: 14:00 PM - 20:00 PM (once per week)

Key Responsibilities:

Promote independence and build confidence Establish a steady routine to maintain stability and reliability Transport the service user in a specially adapted (automatic) vehicle Accompany him to essential medical appointments Provide personal care, including toileting, bathing, and dressing Assist with household tasks and errands

Daily Outings and Adventures Include:

Support with daily activities and exciting adventure outings Scenic drives, coastal walks, and local seaside towns Cafes and home garden centres Outdoor attractions and family entertainment shows Museums and zoo visits Shopping Centres and more

Who We're Looking For:

A calm, professional individual with strong organisational skills Someone with a genuine passion for driving (must be 25+ for vehicle insurance purposes) Physically fit and capable of maintaining an active daily routine In good medical health with good physical well-being Reliable, dedicated, and confident in decision-making

Work Environment:

You'll be working in a calm, clean, and safe property environment where the service user lives with his mother. His main carer provides her support at different times.
