The school has a Year 1 pupil with ASD, and they are looking for a full-time 1:1 support worker. They're seeking someone who is enthusiastic and active, as part of his support involves sensory circuit interventions.
We are looking for someone who:
Has enthusiasm, energy and good communication skills Someone who is flexible, patient, caring, emotionally resilient and confident with children.
Responsibilities
Provide individualized support to a child with SEN, fostering their learning and development in a one-on-one setting. Communicate effectively with teachers and parents to report on student progress and address any concerns. Create a nurturing environment that promotes social interaction and emotional well-being.
ENHANCED DBS IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE - please be prepared to provide this when requested for verification.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 15.95-17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
Esher KT10: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
