We are looking for a very special person to join our team to support children with individual needs with their learning and development. The post will be under the guidance and support of the Class Teacher and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team of teaching assistants.



Ideally, candidates should have experience in a school environment, working with children to help them make rapid progress with basic reading and writing skills. It would also be an advantage to have a recognised qualification e.g. NVQ2 or 3 or be working towards one. You will need to enjoy working collaboratively and have good communication and organisational skills. We are looking for somebody who is passionate about the post, has a flexible approach to work and is committed to meeting the needs of pupils, parents and the school. A pro-active and flexible approach to meeting children's needs is essential.



You may be required to take on the role of Midday Meals Supervisor for one or two sessions a week.

We have made significant improvements to the school over the last year and are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to help us continue our move forwards.
