Your Responsibilities as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (Year 2):
Provide consistent, individualised support throughout the school day
Use visual prompts and speech strategies to encourage language development
Adapt learning tasks in line with EHCP goals and teacher guidance
Build a positive and encouraging relationship with the pupil
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure full classroom integration
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a similar 1:1 SEN support role
Understanding of speech and language difficulties and early learning needs
Patience, empathy, and an adaptable approach to learning challenges
Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare (DBS required)
Ability to support with EHCP outcomes and liaise with professionals where needed
