Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated tutors to deliver online and in-person tuition for 11 Plus, GCSE, and A-Levels students in Chester and Wirral. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support students in achieving their academic goals through personalised teaching tailored to individual learning needs. Tutors will be responsible for creating engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. All positions are paid, including internships, and are suitable for individuals passionate about education and student development.

Responsibilities

Deliver customised tuition sessions for 11 Plus, GCSE, and A-Levels students both online and in-person. Develop engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Support students with exam preparation, revision techniques, and coursework. Maintain clear communication with students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement. Create a positive, motivating environment that encourages student confidence and independence. Utilise educational resources effectively to enhance learning outcomes. Uphold professional standards of behaviour, punctuality, and organisation during all sessions.

Experience

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching at secondary school or higher education levels. Experience working with children or young learners is highly desirable. Knowledge of special educational needs (SEN) is an advantage but not essential. Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively. Previous experience with exam boards relevant to GCSEs and A-Levels . Pay: 21.00-35.00 per hour
