Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate 11 plus tutor to provide educational support to students in Verbal, non verbal reasoning, English and Maths . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring 11 topics, experience working with children, and the ability to adapt their teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student. This role is essential in helping students achieve their academic goals and build confidence in their abilities. The candidate must be an undergraduate student or above.

Duties

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the specific needs of each student. Develop lesson plans and educational materials that align with the curriculum and learning objectives. Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student engagement. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' educational journeys. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Skills

Proven experience in 11 plus tutoring or, with a strong understanding of educational principles. Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and adaptability in various learning situations. Knowledge of special education practices is an advantage, enabling support for diverse learning needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and parents. Strong organisational skills to manage lesson plans, schedules, and student records efficiently.
