1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
to support a child in
Year 1
with
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
and
behavioural needs

Your Role Will Include:
Providing consistent 1:1 support for a child with ASD and emotional/behavioural regulation needs.
Implementing strategies to support engagement, communication, and emotional wellbeing.
Working closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and external professionals.
Creating a safe, structured, and nurturing space for learning and development.

What We're Looking For:
Proven experience supporting children with ASD and behavioural needs.
A calm, patient and emotionally intelligent approach.
Confidence in managing challenging behaviour with empathy and consistency.
Ability to drive - due to the school's location outside central Chichester.
