Are you experienced in supporting children and looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine impact every day?
We're seeking a skilled and compassionate 1:1 support assistant to join our setting caring for Pre-school aged children.
This is a part-time role with an excellent opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role
Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs Providing individualised support to help children access learning Working closely with parents the setting SENCOs and other outside agencies to deliver tailored interventions and support. Supporting communication, sensory needs and emotional regulation Helping create a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment Encouraging independence, confidence and engagement in learning Personal care if required to support the pupil's needs
What We're Looking For
Experience with SEND is essential Patient, nurturing and able to adapt to individual needs An understanding of EHCP strategies, such as visual supports or sensory regulation Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work 1:1 and with small groups Passionate about supporting young people to reach their potential Happy to support pupils with personal care
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in:
Nursery settings Mainstream schools supporting SEND pupils

Start Date: ASAP Contract: Part Time (with potential to become permanent) Age Range: 3 years to 5 years
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 21 per week
Work Location: In person
