Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a 1-1 support worker for a child with complex needs within our
Flying Star
t setting based in Power House Hub, Llanedeyrn, Cardiff.The hours of work are 16 hrs per week between 12.15pm - 3.15pm Monday to Friday,
Term-Time
Only.This is a temporary position from 05 November 2025 until 27th of March 2026.
The successful candidate will need to have true compassion for working and supporting children, have a calm disposition, and
previous experience
in supporting children with ALN.As you will be working within a Flying Start provision you will have full access to a number of internal organisations i.e. health professionals, advisory teachers, speech and language therapists, psychologists, dieticians, etc, and will work closely alongside each to ensure the best possible care for the children attending.
Successful candidates will be given full support and extensive training opportunities to include mandatory fields and those relating to continual professional development in addition to those reflecting good practice.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
