We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant with experience working with children with SEND, to join our successful and friendly village school in the beautiful setting of Potterspury, South Northamptonshire.

About the Role

We are looking for a positive, friendly and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will work alongside another Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with complex additional needs, therefore seeking individuals with significant experience supporting children with complex additional needs or experience working in a specialist provision setting.

At John Hellins Primary School, we are incredibly proud of our strong, school-wide focus on SEND and we are looking to further develop our provision with exciting future plans. This role also offers the further opportunity to work closely with our SENDCo, contributing to the wider development of SEND provision across the school.

Contract Details:

Fixed-term contract starting as soon as possible, ending on 31 August 2026 (There may be potential to extend the contract beyond this term) 08:45am -3:15pm Monday to Friday Term-time only 30 hours and 50 minutes per week Hourly pay: 13.47 to 13.90 (based on experience and qualifications) Full-time equivalent: 25,989 to 26,824 (based on experience and qualifications)
