Hanbury' s Farm and Oakhill Primary Schools Federation currently educate approximately 300 children age 2 to 11, across 2 schools. Both schools are one form entry primary schools and situated only a short distance apart.
The Governing Body and Executive Headteacher are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a child with special educational needs. We are looking to appoint an individual, who is caring and at the same time conscientious in making sure that they nurture and support the pupils' educational experience to the best it can be and will make a significant contribution to ensuring that the pupil makes good progress.
Our schools were rated 'Good' in our recent Ofsted inspection in May 2023. We are dedicated to providing a positive environment to allow children to grow and succeed together. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere at both schools with a continued commitment to raising standards for all pupils.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience of working with children in a primary school setting.
Demonstrate a good standard of English and Maths.
Have experience of working with children with additional needs.
Be able to work with the child under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
Liaise with parents and attend review meetings for the child.
Support the pupil with an empathetic and caring approach.
Work effectively as part of a team.
Be a dedicated, committed and passionate individual.

Actual Annual Salary - 18,814 - 19,112 Pro Rota for hours worked (Pay award pending)
39 working weeks, Term time only including 5 INSET days
Fixed term, Temporary contract until 31st December 2025
