We are seeking passionate and skilled Reasoning Tutors to join our team, specialising in Non-Verbal (NVR) and/or Verbal Reasoning (VR) for
11+ school entrance exams
.
About the Role
Deliver engaging online tuition, helping students develop reasoning skills and exam strategies.
Support students with problem-solving, pattern recognition, and reasoning questions, adapting explanations to different learning styles.
Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them understand mistakes and build confidence.
Collaborate with our team to refine teaching materials and approaches.
What We're Looking For
An experienced and confident Reasoning Tutor who:
Has at least 2 years of previous experience in teaching VR/NVR questions & similar reasoning problems.
Can explain complex concepts clearly to 8-11 year-olds and adapt to different learning styles.
Is enthusiastic, patient, and confident in supporting students of varying abilities.
Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback to students.
Can work online and manage sessions effectively.
Requirements
Required:
Strong subject knowledge of Non-Verbal and/or Verbal Reasoning.
English fluency.
Enhanced DBS checked (or must be willing to apply and pay for a DBS check).
Preferred:
Degree in Maths, Science, Engineering, Education, or a related subject.
Attempted entrance exams e.g. JEE / G-MAT
Minimum 2 years of tutoring/teaching experience in VR &/or NVR reasoning with a track record of student success.
Technically able to work with PowerPoint slides, PDF documents, and Excel & experience in using online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom)
