About the Role
We are seeking a caring and dedicated L2 or L3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of young children. Key responsibilities
------------------------
Implement individual support plans and SEND strategies under SENCO guidance
Adapt activities and resources to meet diverse learning needs
Support all children to access the full nursery curriculum through inclusive practice
Create caring, nurturing relationships with children, promoting their confidence and independence
Communicate regularly with parents and carers about their child's progress and well-being
Complete observations of children's development, including detailed SEND-specific records
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Ensure health and safety compliance in daily practice
Assist with personal care needs, including specialised routines for children with additional needs
Support smooth daily routines and transitions, providing extra support where needed
Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with the SENCO and senior practitioners
What We're Looking For

Essential:
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare
Genuine passion for working with young children
Understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
Commitment to inclusive practice and supporting children with additional needs
Excellent communication skills with children, families, and professionals
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
Desirable:
Previous experience providing 1:1 support to children with SEND
Knowledge of SEND strategies and interventions
Experience working with external professionals and multi-agency teams
Understanding of EHCPs and individual support planning
