We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Responsibilities
Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations
Diagnosing electrical faults and performing repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and maintenance
Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks
Conducting routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate
Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation and company policies
Collaborating with other tradespeople and project teams to ensure seamless project execution
Keeping detailed records of work performed for future reference and compliance purposes
Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws
Strong electrical experience with the ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately
Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ)
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to adhering to health and safety standards at all times
