Duties
Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with industry standards and safety codes.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to complete installations accurately.
Use hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and specialised electrical tools to perform tasks efficiently.
Operate power tools including drills, saws, and voltage testers safely and effectively.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to coordinate work schedules and ensure timely project completion.
Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and standards.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are preferred.
