Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and joinery.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble timber structures and components according to project specifications Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised joinery equipment to complete tasks accurately Install fixtures, fittings, and structural elements on-site, including roofing and masonry components Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and completed sections Assist with plumbing, electrical installations, and construction painting as part of integrated project teams Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building regulations Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency Collaborate with other tradespeople such as masons, electricians, and plumbers to achieve project goals

Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, or related construction trades Strong skills in fabrication, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools Knowledge of roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems, and construction painting is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Good organisational skills with attention to detail Physical fitness to work on-site for extended periods in various weather conditions Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or joinery are preferred but not essential A valid driving licence is desirable for site travel purposes
