Primary Responsibility:
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be responsible for answering incoming requests for support and ideally resolving the problem first time or escalating the request internally, or with 3rd party support teams.
Principal Accountabilities:
1st Line Support
Ensure that customer incidents and service requests are responded to quickly and business-agreed SLAs are met.
Maintain professional, friendly and accurate communication with our colleagues while supporting the business.
Manage and improve our internal Knowledgebase.
Collaborate with colleagues from across the business, sharing workloads and knowledge.
Work with the wider IT Team to improve the services we provide.
Your technical responsibilities will include:
Providing 1st line support in areas such as:
Office 365 administration and troubleshooting including:
MFA.
Azure Entra ID/Active Directory.
Intune MDM.
Sharepoint.
Installation and support of company-approved software.
Supporting onsite and remote users via remote control tools.
Dell hardware troubleshooting.
Triage incidents and reassign them via agreed escalation paths as required.
Supporting individual Teams clients and Logitech Teams Room video conferencing.
MFPs and thermal label printers.
Strong network fundamentals including VPN troubleshooting.
Knowledge Management creation and maintenance.
Server fundamentals.
Proactive awareness and alerting of
New software requests
Security breaches
Supporting 3rd party software (successful candidate will be trained)
Qualifications
Proven experience in technical support and IT support roles
Strong troubleshooting skills for software and hardware issues
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Active Directory
Knowledge of computer networking and desktop support
Experience with VPN and Microsoft Windows Server environments
Understanding of SCCM and Remedy for ticket management
