The role
The school is seeking to appoint TWO caring, enthusiastic teaching assistants, who are able to support teaching and learning in our lower Key Stage 2 team. The roles will involve supporting teaching and learning in a classroom setting and will require some 1:1 or small group work.
We have availability for TWO KS2 Teaching Assistants Level 2 - Fixed term from Monday 3 November (negotiable) until 31 August 2026 (with the possibility of extending).

Applications are invited from enthusiastic teaching assistants who:
can work alongside teachers and other support staff to support and develop the literacy and numeracy skills of pupils
have an ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with the pupils, parents and staff
have experience of working with children with specific needs
are able to work as part of a team
demonstrate strong behaviour management skills in line with school policy
conform to school policies and procedures - safeguarding, welfare, health and safety and data protection
undergo any training required in order to perform relevant duties efficiently
support the teaching of a curriculum that allows pupils to achieve and make progress
be a patient and understanding champion of vulnerable pupils
The posts also include pastoral care duties including lunchtime pupil support.
