The Apprenticeship Program:
The Apprenticeship Programme at Bloomberg is an exciting opportunity to enter the company in a full-time role, take on real responsibility, and discover new skills from day one. Our apprentices make meaningful contributions to our company, while also learning across the industry. Targeted at school leavers, young professionals, military veterans, and those seeking a career change, our program is designed to bridge the gap between the British education system and the ever-changing job market.

The Global People Services Role:
People are Bloomberg\'s most critical assets and ensuring their success is the key to our success. As part of our HR Global People Services (GPS) team, you are the front-line HR Advisor for the organisation.

As a Subject Matter Expert of Bloomberg HR policy, you will seek to understand employees\' needs with empathy and discretion and then advise on topics covering the full range of the employee life cycle. Relationships will be key as you partner with the relevant Centres of Excellence within HR to provide optimal support. As you build your expertise, you will collaborate across the EMEA and Global HR team to advocate for operational improvements that will further enhance the employee experience.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Bachelor\'s degree or a minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience
  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 - 9 in any subject (Should include Maths & English)
  • Learners must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject
  • Possess the right to work in the UK
  • Have lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years

  • Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills as well as an ability to work independently
  • Ability to work with discretion, diplomacy, and tact in a high-pressure setting
  • Good judgment and the ability to be proactive and take initiative to seek out solutions
  • Ability to navigate the "grey" areas by applying judgment and thinking creatively when responding to customer needs
  • Curiosity to learn and seek feedback to continuously grow and develop skills, stretching outside your comfort zone Careful attention to detail, with an aptitude for working quickly and accurately
