Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen. Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Help create an enjoyable dining experience for guests by maintaining quality control over all dishes served. Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve culinary skills.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary best practices. Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards. Excellent supervisory and team management skills, with the ability to lead by example. Creative flair for menu development and presentation of dishes. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality cuisine.
