We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food, and extensive experience in a professional kitchen environment. Responsibilities



Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient and smooth operation during service periods. Oversee all aspects of food production, including preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes. Develop and implement menus in collaboration with management, ensuring variety and quality. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs effectively. Train and mentor junior staff to enhance their culinary skills and professional development. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standard consistently. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor kitchen equipment and facilities to guarantee safety and functionality.

Experience



Proven supervisory experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment. Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a professional kitchen setting. Experience in menu development and culinary innovation is highly desirable. Previous restaurant experience demonstrating excellent service skills, including serving guests when required. Familiarity with kitchen management software and inventory control systems is advantageous. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
