TOMO Burger is opening in Paignton and we are seeking a talented and passionate Chefs to work along side our head chef Tomo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a keen understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional dining experiences, leading kitchen operations. Fast paced with an eye of detail is key.
You will work over all sections in the kitchen from Grill, fish, fryer and pass sections.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while adhering to recipes and portion control guidelines.
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations.
Be a team player, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal burger ideas that reflect current culinary trends.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and creativity.
Skills
Proven experience in food production within a professional kitchen setting.
Burger experience would be a plus and an upstanding of service.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent culinary skills, it will not just be burgers that we cook.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and management.
A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service experiences.
We are chefs, and as chef life goes there will be evenings and weekends to work. We are as new business opening and the future is to create balance for all team members.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
