Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves the assembly, fabrication, and installation of various structures and fixtures, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Duties

2nd fix carpentry to a high standard. Internal doors, skirting, architraves and kitchens Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Ensure all work is plumb and level, adhering to building codes and safety regulations. Undertake heavy lifting as necessary during the construction process. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion within deadlines. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry tasks. Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in construction. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical documents accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
