We are seeking a skilled Carpenters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in carpentry and be proficient in using various hand and power tools. This role involves Using hinge jigs, lock jigs and routers for hanging doors onto frames.
Duties
Assemble and install structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials.
Primarily focused on installing Skirting boards and Architraves to high standards
Execute joinery techniques to create strong joints between different pieces of wood.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
Conduct repairs on existing structures as needed, ensuring durability and safety.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and painters, to complete projects efficiently.
Carry out heavy lifting as required during construction activities.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as chisels, saws, hammers, and measuring instruments.
Familiarity with power tools including drills, sanders, and nail guns.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for long periods.
Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
