About the Role


Are you an experienced 2nd Line IT Support Engineer looking to grow your skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment? Join Remedian IT Solutions -- an award-winning MSP based in Greater Manchester -- where you'll provide essential technical support to schools and businesses across the region. This role offers a clear path towards 3rd Line Engineer, or specialist roles in areas across the business.

Key Responsibilities



Provide 2nd line technical support (remote and on-site) Resolve software, hardware, and network issues (Windows, AD, Office 365, etc.) Troubleshoot and escalate complex tickets Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and rollouts Maintain detailed documentation of issues and resolutions

Skills & Experience Required



Previous experience in a 2nd Line IT support role Strong knowledge of: Windows OS & Active Directory Office 365 admin & troubleshooting Networking basics: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP Experience with VMware or Hyper-V Excellent communication and customer service skills UK Driving License and car (preferred)
