If you have a passion for jacking, experience with working on a DP system and a desire to work on dynamic offshore projects, then the role of 2nd Officer MPI Jack Ups might be the perfect fit for you!
THE POSITION
As a 2nd Officer on board one of our Jack-Up Vessels, you are responsible for the safe navigation and support of maritime and offshore operations. You will work closely with the Bridge Officers and the project team to ensure the successful execution of complex offshore installation projects, such as offshore wind farm construction.



YOUR IMPACT
In this role, you will be responsible for:

Standing watch on the bridge during operations and transit. Preparing for and assisting with jack-up operations and DP (Dynamic Positioning) activities. Ensuring safety on board and actively contributing to safety procedures as Safety Officer. Supporting deck operations, cargo handling, and coordinating with the installation or construction team. Maintaining communication with project management and the bridge team during critical offshore operations. Training and mentoring junior officers and cadets.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a colleague who:

Holds a completed education in Maritime Officer studies (MBO or HBO level). Has a valid Certificate of Competency of at least Officer of the Watch. Has experience with offshore operations and/or jack-up or DP vessels (preferred). Is familiar with applicable regulations and standards (ISM, ISPS, MARPOL). Is a team player, communicatively strong, and safety-driven. Is willing to work worldwide in a rotational schedule.
