Hours & Schedule

We are open

Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 - 19:00

and are hiring

two therapists

to share the hours equally.

Each therapist will start on

around 22.5 hours per week

Typical weekly pattern (rotating fairly):

Two full days:

10:00 - 19:00

One half-day Thursday split shift:

10:00 - 14:30 or 14:30 - 19:00

One Saturday full day:

10:00 - 19:00

Sunday & Monday:

Closed

As the client base grows, additional hours will become available, offering the option to move to full-time if desired.

Pay & Commission

Starting pay:

(National Living Wage 2025 )

Earning potential:

As your client base grows and you consistently cover your own wages plus half of the rooms fixed overheads, you will earn

10% commission on every 1,000 of personal service revenue each month

Holiday pay and pension contributions are provided in line with UK employment law.

Role Overview

As a Waxing Therapist at Waxstop you will:

Deliver

professional male and female intimate waxing services

, including

Hollywood and BSC treatments

, to the highest standards of hygiene and client care.

Must be able to complete a Hollywood wax confidently in under 30 minutes.

Perform full-body waxing and related hair-removal services.

Open and close the salon

as scheduled and maintain full room hygiene, ensuring all equipment and treatment areas are clean, safe, and fully stocked. Build and retain a loyal client base and encourage repeat bookings. Assist with retail product sales and light reception/booking duties when required.
Requirements

NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Beauty Therapy

or higher

Proven professional waxing experience including male and female intimate waxing (essential)

Ability to perform a Hollywood wax in under 30 minutes (must-have skill)

Excellent hygiene, customer service and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Must be fully competent as
