Overview



We are looking for a customer focused individual to join our Call Desk. Working as a part of a vibrant and energetic team, your role is to handle our customer queries, take ownership of the situation and demonstrate real empathy to provide a resolution to the customer's satisfaction.

Many students attending University have never used a washing machine before and, additionally, we also work with many international students where English is not their native language. It is therefore essential that Call Desk Advisors are able to apply patience and understanding when helping our customers.

We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic individual with very strong experience in customer service. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and desire to deliver a great customer experience is essential.

Responsibilities:



Handling Customer Queries via livechat, email, and by telephone Managing the Facebook and Twitter inboxes Logging jobs for engineer visits Capturing accurate notes on our internal systems Liaising with internal departments to resolve customer queries Achieving business KPIs

Knowledge and Experience:



Essential -



Ability to provide outstanding levels of customer service Demonstrated experience of taking ownership of customer queries Experience of working in a busy team; driven to achieve personal, team, and business goals Experience of using online customer account systems Good knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Word & Excel

Desirable -



Experience of resolving complex customer issues Previous experience of working in a customer helpdesk capacity

Personal Qualities & Skills:



Essential -



The ability to apply 'soft-skills' such as empathy and patience to resolving customer queries Ability to cope with multiple priorities Strong team player Confidence and eagerness to own and resolve issues by showing initiative and willingness to learn

Desirable -



Capability to apply pragmatic solutions to complex issues Highly motivated

Hours:

37.5 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday. Weekend working may also be required.

Contract:

3 months - with a view to go permanent for those who perform well.

Salary:

22,795
