Due to further expansion D Hill Services Ltd are seeking 2 reliable and dedicated 3.5t Van Delivery Drivers to join our team of employed full time drivers, delivering mixed freight on behalf of DX Group.

Mon - Fri 7am - 5pm

Weekly Pay, one week in arrears

28 days paid leave including Bank Holidays

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Luton bodied or Extra Long Wheel Base Panel van, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, which can include some heavy lifting, using lifting equipment provided, as necessary Planning route efficiently to ensure timely deliveries across a defined geographic area. Ability to make circa 50 deliveries per day to both commercial and residential customers. Communicate effectively with the traffic office to resolve any potential issues. Report any vehicle maintenance needs or accidents immediately to management. Complete daily vehicle checks prior to loading the vehicle at the start of each day

Experience

Previous experience as a multi-drop delivery driver is essential. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols is essential. Ability to drive both Manual and Automatic transmission vehicles Strong communication skills are required to interact with customers and team members effectively. Experience in handling heavy lifting and physical tasks is advantageous. A valid driver's licence, with no more than 6 current penalty points.
