Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires heavy lifting, excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Van and card fuel is provided.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload goods, which may involve heavy lifting and manual handling. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. A valid driving licence with a clean driving record is essential Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards is beneficial. Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus, particularly in relation to logistics and stock management. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required during loading and unloading processes.
