Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced
self employed
Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries across designated routes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong driving background, excellent communication skills to contribute to our operational success.This role the successful candidate will be working along side one of our engineers who will be delivering and installing white goods
Driver must be 21+ with a minimum of 1 years driving experience
No more than 6 points on license
Duties
Deliver and install white goods to various locations accurately and on schedule Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly Assist with loading and unloading of appliances, ensuring items are secured properly during transit Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with customers Adhere to all health and safety procedures during operations Supporting the engineer when required. Organising the van in-between deliveries.
Requirements
Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery roles, preferably with delivery driver experience Valid driver's licence suitable for the vehicle type Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently Ability to perform
heavy lifting
Benefits
Weekly pay Potential daily bonus of 27.50 Higher Monday & weekend rates
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 13.50-15.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 1 per week
