Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Delivery Driver to become a part of our team. The successful applicant will be tasked with transporting goods to various destinations while ensuring they arrive safely and on time. This position demands a strong dedication to customer service, as well as the capability to handle heavy items and navigate diverse routes efficiently. A valid commercial driving license is a must for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a delivery van safely to transport goods to specified locations.

- Load and unload products while ensuring they are handled correctly during transit.

- Maintain clear communication with warehouse personnel and customers regarding delivery timelines and any issues that may arise.

- Perform regular inspections and maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it remains in optimal condition.

- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies while driving to uphold safety standards.

- Keep precise records of deliveries and any discrepancies experienced during the process.

- Provide assistance in warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and organization of stock.

Required Skills

- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or Van Driver is preferred.

- Strong capability to lift heavy items safely and effectively.

- Exceptional communication skills for engaging with customers and team members.

- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices.

- Proficiency in navigating using GPS technology or maps.

- Excellent organizational skills to effectively manage delivery schedules and routes.
