Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. The Van Driver will operate a Curtain-sided Tail-lift van and may also assist with warehouse duties as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely drive a van to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Load and unload goods, ensuring that items are secured properly during transport. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Assist with warehouse tasks Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding vehicle operation and safety.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for van operation. Proven experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a warehouse environment. A good understanding of health and safety regulations related to driving and transporting goods.

Pay: 13.00-19.50 per hour
