We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced 3.5 Tonne Van Driver to join our team in Preston, PR26 The successful candidate will be responsible for the transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to safety and traffic regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a 3.5 tonne van to transport goods to designated locations.

- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.

- Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.

- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and interactions with clients.

- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

- Valid UK driving license with Category B entitlement.

- Proven experience as a van driver, preferably with a 3.5 tonne vehicle.

- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.

- Excellent knowledge of Preston and surrounding areas.

- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Good time management and organizational abilities.

- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings.
