We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for the role of 3.5t driver. To safely and efficiently complete removals driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle, ensuring compliance with company standards, legal requirements, and customer service expectations.
To lead moves by planning loads and ensuring all elements of packing and dismantling are completed to an excellent standard
Responsibilities
General duties:
Drive a company 3.5T vehicle within company and legal requirements
Complete daily vehicle checks ensuring that any defects are documented and reported to the Transport Manager
Ensure that the vehicle is prepared prior to the move with all required materials and equipment loaded and, that it is clean and tidy
Act as foreman ensuring that the moves team are fully aware of the Risk assessment, methodology and move requirements
Be the main contact for the client ensuring that any questions or concerns are dealt with politely and in a timely manner
Oversee careful packing and loading of furniture or other effects to eradicate damage in transit
Ensure that all move paperwork is completed to a high standard and the client signatures are obtained each day
Prepare the vehicle for the next day ensuring that unused material is returned to the warehouse and recycling is processed as per company policy
Ensure that any incidents or issues with the vehicle are reported to the Transport Manager and H&S Accident or near miss reports are made where required
Other duties:
Adhere to health and safety legislation; to work in a manner which always ensures personal and others health and safety.
Be willing to assist with other operational duties as and when required, including occasional night and weekend work.

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
