Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators and other heavy machinery to assist in various construction and excavation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations, safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Operating 360 excavator, mobile crushing and screening plant safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and report any issues. Assisting with site operations, loading, and material movement. Carrying out basic machine checks and maintenance. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while operating machinery. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use. Working as part of a busy aggregates team.

Requirements

Valid 360 excavator/plant operator licence (CPCS/NPORS preferred). Previous experience in a similar role. Experience in a Quarry environment. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well under pressure. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
