Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators safely and efficiently on various projects around the UK, ensuring tasks are completed to high standards. The position requires a proactive approach, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Duties

Operate excavators from 3T to 25T to perform digging, lifting, and moving earth or materials according to project specifications. Conduct routine inspections of equipment prior to use, identifying any maintenance or safety issues. Assist with site preparation, grading, trenching, and other excavation-related tasks. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment. Coordinate with site managers and other team members to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any operational issues promptly. Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Experience

Proven experience operating excavators in a construction or civil engineering environment. Hold a CPCS, NPORS or similar qualification. Valid driving licence is preferred Familiarity with health and safety standards relevant to construction sites. The capacity to work independently or as part of a team. Pay: 19.00-23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 - 60 per week
