The candidate must have a valid CPCS or Npors card for driving 360 with good experience. SSSTS certificate will be a bonus.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating excavators and other heavy machinery to perform various tasks on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to dig and move materials efficiently while adhering to safety regulations.

Duties

Operate excavators and related heavy machinery for digging, lifting, and moving materials. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to complete projects on time. Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Interpret site plans and specifications to execute tasks accurately. Assist in the training of new operators as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Valid commercial driving licence is preferred. Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. A commitment to adhering to safety standards and practices.
